Dubly.AI is an AI video localization platform that translates, dubs, and lip-syncs video content across languages while preserving the original speaker's voice. It is built and hosted in Germany and sold primarily to companies and publishers, with the pitch centered on translation quality you cannot tell is AI, European data sovereignty, and a feature set that is identical on every plan.

The workflow starts with a video. You can upload an mp4 or mov file up to five gigabytes, or paste a YouTube link to import directly. The platform transcribes the speech, detects speakers, and translates the dialogue into any of more than forty target languages and dialects from over one hundred source languages. A single video can be delivered in an unlimited number of target languages, and video length is not capped, so a multi-hour course is treated the same way as a short social clip. Dubbing uses cloned voices, keeping each speaker recognizable in every language, and you can also swap in a replacement voice from the library or upload your own for a specific speaker. Multi-speaker videos support per-segment assignment, so dialogue can be routed to the correct voice line by line.

Lip sync is the differentiating feature. The company advertises occlusion handling that keeps mouth movement coherent when a hand, microphone, or phone covers part of the face, plus tolerant tracking for head turns and dynamic movement, which are exactly the moments where competing models tend to break. Lip sync is optional and enabled per video after the first translation pass; it costs two credits per minute instead of one.

The translation editor is deliberately deep. Revisions are unlimited, and every segment can be edited, split, skipped, or re-paced. You can define do-not-translate lists for brand terms, set custom translations for specific words, control pronunciation, and choose tone, formality, and writing style. A change can be applied across all languages at once, after which the affected passage is re-voiced, and re-dubbing after a source text update is built in. A glossary stores company terminology so translations stay consistent across projects.

Output is practical: MP4 video, MP3 audio as a full mix, voice only, or background only, plus SRT subtitle files, with subtitles optionally burned in using two styles and a custom accent colour. Background music and audio are preserved and original voice volume stays adjustable. On the collaboration side, users are unlimited and cost nothing extra, with owner, admin, member, and external reviewer roles, projects and folders, multiple workspaces, and PIN-protected share links. The platform is GDPR compliant, offers a data processing agreement, states that customer content is never used for AI training, and was pen-tested by TÜV SÜD. API access is included at no extra cost on every plan.
