Okara

Okara is an AI CMO that turns one website URL into a running marketing system. It reads your site, writes strategy and competitor documents, then drafts SEO articles, Reddit replies, X and LinkedIn posts, Hacker News pitches, and UGC video briefs, with SEO and GEO audits updated daily. Drafts are queued for your approval, and paid plans publish to your CMS.

What is Okara?

Okara is an AI CMO: an autonomous marketing agent that takes one website URL and returns a working growth system, then keeps running it every day. You paste your product's URL, and Okara reads your homepage, pricing page, and the publicly accessible pages it finds through your sitemap. From that it builds the strategy documents every agent works from: product information, a marketing strategy, competitor analysis, a brand voice guide, and a content strategy.

Setup takes three to five minutes on the free plan and five to eight minutes on the Pro plan, with the dashboard terminal showing the work in real time. Once setup finishes, four panels populate. Company holds the editable strategy documents. Analytics covers SEO health, technical audits, backlinks, GEO visibility, and traffic pulled from Google Analytics and Search Console. The Agents Feed is a daily queue of drafted content and opportunities. Talk to AI CMO is a chat interface grounded in everything Okara knows about your product.

The agents are the product. The SEO agent audits the site continuously and surfaces on-page fixes, keyword gaps, and content opportunities. The GEO agent tracks how your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude, then recommends ways to earn citations. The Writer agent drafts SEO-optimized articles with a target keyword, secondary keywords, estimated word count, and difficulty score, and can publish straight to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity, or HubSpot. The X and LinkedIn agents write daily post drafts in your brand voice. The Reddit agent finds relevant threads and drafts replies. The Hacker News agent writes Show HN variations. The UGC agent produces briefs and multi-aspect video clips for social and ads. The Influencer agent handles creator matching, outreach, tracking, and payouts. The Coding agent ships technical SEO fixes as reviewable GitHub pull requests.

Usage is measured in credits. Free accounts get five one-time credits; Lite and Pro include 2,000 credits per month that reset on the billing anniversary, and unused monthly credits do not carry forward. A generated article costs 18 credits, an SEO or GEO analysis 10, a Reddit thread plus reply draft 8, a LinkedIn post 7, an X post 5, and a UGC video 60. Messages to your CMO are priced by token usage. Top-up packs of 860, 2,000, or 4,600 credits can be bought from the dashboard and never expire. Okara says Pro running at full output uses roughly 1,700 of its 2,000 monthly credits.

Nothing goes live without you. Reddit replies are always manual, X and LinkedIn posting needs your click, and CMS publishing and SEO fixes only run after approval.

Who is Okara for?

Okara is aimed at founders and small teams that need marketing output every day but cannot justify hiring for it. The site's own cost comparison puts the alternative at roughly $14,000 a month across a full-time marketing hire, an SEO agency, a content writer, a social media manager, and community growth; Okara pitches itself as the $129-a-month replacement. Published user reviews describe the same buyer: a bootstrapped founder with zero marketing budget, a two- or three-person team trying to reach its first thousand users, and a one-person financial principal replacing a junior marketing hire. Product people who build in public are the second group. Indie developers and SaaS founders use the daily Agents Feed as a distribution to-do list, working through a Reddit thread to answer, an X post to publish, and an article to review instead of learning SEO from scratch. People with no marketing background are explicitly served: the guided cards, strategy documents, and Talk to AI CMO chat mean you do not need to know what a keyword gap or a Core Web Vital is before you start. Agencies make up the third audience, and Okara sells to them directly. The agency plan gives one workspace per client with separate strategy and brand context, starting at $129 a month for the first client site and dropping to $77.40 a month per additional site from the fifth client onwards. Freelancers and consultants who sell marketing or SEO services use the same workspace structure to deliver more accounts without more headcount. The last group is local and service businesses reached through the industry pages: law firms, healthcare practices, real estate brokerages and realtors, restaurants, hotels, contractors, gyms, financial advisors, insurance agencies, recruiters, private schools, wineries, nonprofits, publishers, and mobile apps. These teams usually have one owner-operator doing marketing between other jobs, which is exactly the workflow Okara automates.

Okara Pros and Cons

Pros

  • The free plan is a working agent rather than a demo: it returns strategy documents, an SEO audit, and SEO plus GEO recommendations with no credit card required.
  • Every channel drafts from the same strategy and brand voice documents, so articles, Reddit replies, and LinkedIn posts stay on message.
  • Nothing publishes without your approval, and the Agents Feed turns marketing into a reviewable daily queue rather than a black box.
  • Per-action credit costs are published and top-up credits never expire, so extra spend carries forward instead of disappearing at reset.
  • Integrations cover the stack small teams already run, including WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity, HubSpot, GitHub, Google Analytics, and Search Console.

Cons

  • Payments are non-refundable for current and future plans, monthly or annual, so refunds happen only in exception cases reviewed by support.
  • Monthly credits reset on the billing anniversary and unused credits do not carry forward, so a quiet month wastes part of the allowance.
  • Reddit posting is always manual and X, LinkedIn, and CMS publishing still need your click, so autonomous drafting still needs a daily human review.
